This is awesome that Cablevision added these two options to stream their live TV within their own home networks. I love the streaming service I have through Dish because I can take it outside of my home. The other day I took my iPad with a co-worker and me from Dish to get a manicure. We caught up on the Housewives of OC while we got our Mani and Pedi’s. With the Sling Adapter hooked up to my receiver I can access my subscription channels and DVR recordings from anywhere I can get a 3G or Wi-Fi connection. I can use this on my iPad, any Android device, my laptop, or my PC. It is great to have my TV on the go and that is one thing Cablevision cannot do still.
